Through August 20, 2026, we are offering tours in English every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
If this schedule does not suit you and you are a group of at least 10 people, we can offer you other time slots. Please contact us at 04 92 23 02 94 or minesdargent@ville-argentiere.fr ; we will do our best to arrange a tour.
The visit lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours:
- A self-guided tour of the mining museum:
includes an exhibition and a 20-minutes video screening.
- A guided tour of the silver mine (2 hours in total: access to the mine, outdoor explanations, and 1 hour underground).
PLEASE NOTE: There is no need to arrive early; we allow time—either before or after the mine tour—for you to visit the exhibition area and watch the video.
Depending on the tour selected, access to the mine is either by private vehicle (we organize carpooling whenever possible) or by shuttle (during peak season—July 13 to August 23—for most tours).
